I've owned many weapon lights and this light (Streamlight TLR-1 HPL) is superior in every way... The light is absolutely blinding in tactical situations and the option of a disorienting strobe feature will ensure YOU have the tactical advantage. Easily illuminates targets far beyond the effective range of iron or holographic weapon sights.
