Very powerful little light
I like the light. It is very powerful and mounted easily on my AR. I bought the package with both the direct switch and wired switch. This was my hideaway light on a recent trip. It was small enough to keep in a coat pocket and use to blind anyone as needed. My one negative is the wire is straight and not curled so when mounted it hangs loosely. They did provide two cable ties but I haven't permanently set it up yet.

Very nice, really bright light works great , installed on my .308 looks awesome ok you are able to see around 200 + yards this is my second light I purchased planning on getting more in the near future

Good For Hunting
This light is very large, but the output is commensurate with the size. At first I was pleased when I opened the box, it included a remote switch, but those accessories are extremely cheap and essentially worthless, they are immediate throw in the trash components. Thankfully, the actual switch on the light itself has a nice positive activation and the large tabs are easy to reach and use. I would not consider this a professional duty weapon light due to the size and inferior quality to a brand like Surefire or Cloud Defensive. But I do think this is a nice, bright light for spotting varmints in darkness or low light, great for a set up you use to hunt coyotes or something in low or no light. That’s how mine is set up and I’m happy with that for about half the price of a professional duty light. But the trade offs are clear.

Great Weapon Light
This is a great option for long guns. Gives off a nice beam of light that has great range but is also able to be used in a close quarters situation due to the powerful lux and candela combo...........

Excellent Weapon light
I am very happy with the TRL-1 HPL lights that I purchased for my AR and Mossberg 930. Both have held up well I have 4 other TRL lights on my pistols the quality and reliability that Streamlight is known for is the reason that I own so many Streamlight products. I have had the TRL-1 HPL lights out in the rain and the one on my 930 fell into a creek and was submerged for about 5 minutes under 8 to 10 feet of water. The light was on the whole time and has continued to function with out any issues.

Great Product
Strongly recommend this light for anyone who wants a great quality long rand gun mounted flashlight. Easy mounting without tools, great location for on-off switch, and the long range beam surrounded by the wide casting of light surrounding the center beam adds a lot to it's usefulness for night time shooting.

Brings the light to the dark
I recommend the light. I think it goes very well on my system. Cannot speak to longevity and durability but it seems really well made. Do not think I'll be disappointed. If, undecided I say go for it. I did.

Quality Weapons Light
I usually buy cheap Chinese made lights on ebay. They are bright and cheap. This is the first high quality light I've bought. Wow. No more Chinese knockoffs. This thing is built solid/functional and fits a rail tight. The beam is bright and strong. This model has the larger reflector and I plan to put it on my pig rifle. I will buy more lights from streamlight. Well worth the $128 I paid for it. Worth 10 $30 knock offs!

UNBELIEVALBLE LIGHT
I just ordered this light from OPTICS PLANET and was shocked by the brightness. The same light, a TLR-1 HP light with the pressure switch kit I ordered with my new AR-15 was from a different company. It came with a 200 Lumens version and compared to this one I just got from OPTICS PLANET looks dull.
OPTICS PLANET had this light on sale and was offering an upgrade to free second day air shipping. I can’t say enough good things about the products and the folks from OPTICS PLANET. Take your time and read all the information about the product offered on the website it might keep more of your money in your own pocket.

Great Long Gun Light!
I bought the Streamlight TLR-1 HPL for my AR-15. It is an incredibly bright light that produces a narrow penetrating beam illuminating objects very far away while providing great peripheral illumination close up. Very easy to mount and remove from the rail. The Tactical Light Kit arrived exactly as described and pictured. I am very pleased and satisfied with my purchase. I will definitely buy more products from OpticsPlanet.com
