Excellent light
This is an awesome little light. It’s not super bright but is perfect to light up the rooms in my house. The buttons are easy to operate with my support hand. I also like the fact that I don’t have to remove it just to change the batteries. The light is also really light and doesn’t add any noticeable weight to the gun.
Streamlight TLR6
Excellent light option if you own a Glock 26 Gen 4.

would wait for streamlight to develop an HL version
First off i bought this thinking it had the laser as well, an oversight on my part. I got this for my CC G26 because its pretty much the only option. It passes as a flashlight but not very impressive. I don't know about you, but in the event that i have to use my flashlight to illuminate a threat, i want to blind that guy; i want the guy to squint and shield his eyes like hes looking at the second coming; i want to scorch his eye balls. Like i said, not impressed. If only Streamlight could come out with a HL version of this, then world hunger and all suffering would be no more. Definitely looking to upgrade once Streamlight gets their act together, only coping with this until then, because its on my CC and you've got to be able to see what you're looking at.
Pros:
- its a flashlight
Cons:
- poor excuse for a flashlight
Best Used for:
- Seeing in the dark

Fit the niche
I bought one of these for the first time in April of 2021 for my Glock 26. I have carried a Glock 27 and/or Glock 26 for 16 years now. Now make fun all you want but I pocket carry and this is the only weapon light that fits a Glock 26 in a pocket carry configuration. I have my tactical reasons for pocket carry and have done it successfully for 16 years. Stick holsters has a pocket holster that fits this setup perfectly. I have tried other sub compact offerings over the years but I keep coming back to this set up with the Glock 26 with the Streamlight trl-6. It's my favorite set up and I shoot it really well. Therefore I recently bought two more Streamlight trl-6 for two more Glock 26's. Now are they super bright, no, but they will in fact give enough light in a dark situation to identify a threat or not. Again, make fun all you want of my decision to pocket carry a Glock 26 with a Streamlight trl-6, but it works for me for the last 16 years.
Pros:
- small and descrete
Cons:
- low lumen
Best Used for:
- Pocket carry

great light
I highly recommend this light to anyone that has a Glock 26/27/MP shield. I have a Glock 26 and my brother has an MMP shield. We both run this light. It is fantastic. I know 100 lm doesn’t seem like a lot, but it comes off very bright. I am mainly using this firearm for when I am in the house and I have a short amount of space. at night it gives me enough light to identify people that are in a close proximity. Which what I would be using a subcompact firearm for. They do make a version of this but run time is only five minutes I believe or very low.
Pros:
- cost
Cons:
- lumens

Glock 26 (no rail)
This product is amazing. My glock doesn't have a rail and this light fits well. I also like that it's not too bright.

TLR6 for Glock 26
The light mounts perfectly to the Glock 26 and looks good! The light functions well with just an “okay” amount of light (think point blank to 20 meters max for visibility). I also liked the low profile switches and design, they’re very intuitive. Now for the Bad… I don’t like the batteries or life (definitely the least impressive part of the light). Not only are they more difficult to find, they’re pricey for what they are. The light could certainly have a higher output(maybe 200 lumens+), 100 lumens is just okay and not ideal for low/no light conditions. I also found it difficult find a good holster for the gun with this light mounted. Finally, I would recommend it to others as it is realistically the only G26 light available, unfortunately I’d inform them about the batteries, light output and holster availability. Maybe think about a different back up or EDC weapon.
Pros:
- Looks good, low profile, intuitive switches
Cons:
- Light output low, battery type and holster availability
Best Used for:
- EDC and self defense

TIR-6 attached to Glock 26
This particular pistol does not have a rail, complicating the attachment of a weapon mounted light. The TLR-6 negates that shortcoming by attaching the light directly to the trigger guard. It is a clamshell type that is a precision fit and mounts very securely to the trigger guard. Simple to attach and easy to access the battery when it needs replacement. I have found it to be as secure as a TLR-7 that I have on my M&P 2.0.
