Put on a Shield X worked as it should. Extends about .25 of an inch from barrel.

I put this thing on my Springfield Hellcat Pro comp/a red dot and it fits great with the '5 key' and the light functions as it should, no problems. It doesn't make my gun "bulky" so it's great for concealing.
DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES I MADE BY BUYING THE INCORRECT RAIL MOUNT TYPE (such as 1913 Picatinny, Etc) Even tho it says on the product that they have the same "name" (TLR 7 HLX SUB) but not all have the same rail mount! So MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A 1913 RAIL and not something else you're mounting to even if it seems like the exact same product, which it is, JUST DIFFERENT RAIL TYPE!
If you got the correct rail mount flashlight for your gun and still doesn't seem to 'fit', you may need to change out the "key" with the number on it, to one that'll allow you to properly mount the light on your specific gun and that's shown in the manual. You should get included with the product a set of keys for your 1913 rail mount.

This is extremely lightweight, with the battery weighing more than the device. Please note: this is dual power light. The rechargeable 3.6v battery is comes with will produce 1,000 lumens, the standard 123 battery will produce 500. So you have options.

I’ve been running the TLR-HLX Sub on a few different pistols now and figured I’d share some real-world impressions.
On a G19 with a P80 lower, it’s basically a perfect fit — sits flush and looks right at home. On the Sig 365XL, it sticks out about 0.3" past the muzzle, which you’ll notice if you care about that kind of thing, but it’s not obnoxious. On the 365 Fuse, it’s actually about 0.2" short, which I didn’t mind at all and honestly kind of prefer for carry.
As far as brightness goes, I can’t tell any real difference between this and the full-size HLX. Side by side, they look just as bright to my eyes. The full-size HLX might have a slightly tighter beam, but we’re really splitting hairs here. This thing is way brighter than your standard 500-lumen pistol lights — no contest. Those older 500-lumen lights feel pretty dated once you use this.
The beam has a nice balance — good hotspot with plenty of spill, which actually makes it more useful indoors or around structures. Build quality feels solid, mounts up tight, and I haven’t had any issues with recoil or fit loosening up.
Cons:
- Wider than Subcompact guns, widening your holster a bit

Darn bright, its a quality light and Streamlight has always made excellent products and they stand behind the product. I like being dual battery capable, with the CR123 or their rechargable battery. Thats nice to have that option. Also two different swtich profiles that are swappable is sweet.

Wow.... the size of it and amount of light that comes out of this thing is unreal. Pricey.... yes. The quality is there though.

As always, Streamlight offers excellent value for the money. The TLR-7 HL-X Sub is no different. This light is mounted on an Icarus-framed P365 XL and the fit is compact and the light is easily manipulated. Beam quality and pattern is very good and the rechargable battery lasts about as long as advertised. Nice light on my EDC.
Pros:
- Don't have to replace light to change battery
- Easy manipulated controls
- Excellent beam pattern
