Great Improvement
Compared to the TLR 3, this thing is awesome.
TLR1HL is still my favorite, but if you are looking for a "flush" fit light for your firearm than this is definitely the unit of choice.
The Bezel lockout is an excellent feature and the light output is great/effective.
Really my only issue with this light is the activation switches. Even though i don't have an issue using these, I prefer the paddles of the TLR1/TLR3. The rear housing of the TLR7 keeps the light from snugging around the trigger guard like the other lights.

Streamlight TLR7
I bought this light less than a month ago on my P320 Compact Carry with Romeo 1. I love the design fits well, not heavy, well made and durable. With the 500 lumen brightness as bedside pistol you will not regret. As always optics planet meet my expectations. I receive the item in a timely manner...

Bad switches
The size and output of the light is great. But the actual utilization of the light is horrible. The switches are hard to press (require lots of force) and are are too far forward which makes it impossible to activate the light unless you have very large or long fingers or the worst thing...by breaki...

Perfect light
Likely the best light for most people: Sturdy. Functional. Compact. Bright, but not too bright. Cost effective. Quality build. Ergonomic buttons. Foolproof operation. Sleek and easy to use. Perfect in every way and ideal best-in-class light for most pistols and shooters.

light switch
Only concern I have with this light is the switch. Since the switch were on both sides it would be easier to turn them on with your finger if it was sticking out a little bit more and made it a little bigger or wider. Overall I recommend this product.

Durable light for your pistol
This light is plenty bright enough and is a great compact light for a Glock 19 sized pistol and works great for ccw. The pads for activating the light work as intended but for me after looking at the tlr-7a the pads for that light seem like they would be better

Highly recommend!!!
I got this light for my glock 17 gen 5 and it looks so nice all together! I would definitely recommend anyone who are glock fans should get this weapon light. Easy to install just follow the directions.

Streamlight TLR-7 Tactical Light
Perfect light for my G45. I like ease of turning on and off and the hold feature for turning light on then release and turns off. I like my Surefire 1000 lumen lights but sometimes are too bright for certain tactical training conditions. This light is 500 lumens and works well for areas of reflective lighting. Little lighter and less bulky also.

Great product at a competitive price
This light fits just right and works great. A very strong beam of light with 500 lumens. It looks great on my pistol and functions perfectly. I put this on my wife's gun. It is the third Streamlight product that I have purchased and they all have exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this product.
Pros:
- Looks great
- fits well
- 500 lumens
Cons:
- None

Reliable Light
Top quality. This is the first light that I have mounted on a handgun, and I have to say that I am absolutely pleased with the fit, activation, and overall brightness of this small but powerful light. It’s mounted on a Glock 43. You can’t go wrong with this light.
Pros:
- Price
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- anything

TLR-7 Tactical light
This light is powerful and bright. It is mounted on a Glock 19MOS. I have a TLR-2s mounted on an AR platform that has proved to be very reliable as to why I purchased this one for the Glock. The ambi-switch is a great feature as well.
Pros:
- Bright, easy to install
- ambi-switch
Cons:
- may be difficult to holster for IWB carry
Would recommend: Yes

Great Light / Versatile
Streamlight is the best weapon light company by far, a little on the expensive side but worth it in the end. Fits every pistol I own! I love the fact that you can turn the head a half turn and the battery disengages. Only down side, it took 3 weeks to arrive? Thanks BIDEN
Pros:
- Versatile
Cons:
- Price $$$ - unfortunately good things come out a price.
Best Used for:
- Home Defense

This is my 4th TLR 7
No failures to date. I have not had to use Stream light CS or Optics Planet CS for this little light. I trust both companies to do the right thing if a failure should occur.
I feel better about having the safe-off on the bezel although I don’t use it often (only in transport).
I use this light on my AR set- ups forward of the front sight assembly. I utilize the TLR 7-A on my pistol for HD. I like the switch system on the TLR 7. My fore-hand grip style is well suited to use both the left & right button with ease.
It’s light-weight as I could want and saves rail space.
I’m a regular Ole run of the mill gremlin civilian so…. At the price, weight, size and function it IS a superb deal. Its my 4th TLR-7 light and would buy it again.
Easy to position close to the front sight using the included rail adapters.
