3 times tells you something - Streamlight TLR-8A LED Weapon Light and Laser

This is my 3rd TLR-8. My 1st two are with green lasers and went with red this time. My 3rd buy IS NOT because I had problems with 1 or 2, to the contrary it is BECAUSE 1 & 2 are so good I bought my 3rd. The light is awesome for its size. Shooting in my backyard range at night at 25 yards is like being at a baseball night game. Everything is lit up, clear and no shadows making target acquisition in pitch black conditons a cake walk. Adjusting is very fine—so go easy. A 1/4 turn on windage or elevation can be huge when trying to zero at the distance of your preference. I skipped the zero and have mine dialed in parallel. The laser projects 2.25” below the center bore of my Glock, so I hold at 2.25” below the target and regardless of distance its a direct hit. The unit fits nicely on the rail and right up against the trigger guard for clean, sleek look and appears like it was made for the gun. Activation controls are tactile and easily accessible without altering your grip. I run it on a Glock, Kimber & Sig and like I said—it looks like it was made for the gun. I also love how it doesn’t protrude past your barrell, further supporting the clean look. You won’t have much trouble finding holsters to accomodate this unit. I love all 3, but have to say the green laser is easier to see, especially in bright daylight. Indoors makes no difference. A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT STREAMLIGHT. My 2nd TLR-8 had an issue holding zero. I don’t know if it was me being over aggresive with adjustments or a mechanical issue. Regardless, I sent it back to Streamlight and they turned around the repair in 24hrs!!!! I waited longer for the Ship To and Ship Back than the actual repair, and they update you with emails on the process and turnaround. Lifetime warranty, so no costs associated with the repair. Very impressive and great support.
