Streamlight junk - Streamlight TLR-8 G Sub LED 500 Lumens Weapon Light w/ Green Laser

Really looking forward to this light. Smaller footprint brighter light than my TLR-2G. What a disappointment. Spend a couple hundred dollars for a light that will not turn on, what a fabulous deal. The light does not work. The green laser turns on. Changed out the batteries, still no luck the light will not turn on but it did flicker.?.?.?. Ordered a Kenai chest holder with this light to fit into it because they did not offer me another choice of Streamlight light (I actually love streamlight and thought this would be a homerun). I am now returning this light for refund (saw the reviews on how many times others had to exchange their lights to maybe get one that worked) but unfortunately now I will have a chest holster made for this light and no light to put into it. Unless streamlight fixes these numerous issues with this light do not buy it. What a shame, I love Streamlight lights. Got the TLR-2G, numerous flashlights and lanterns all of them work excellent. This thing is a complete failure. Will try this product again later maybe, afterall I have a holster I can't put another light in.
Read the other reviews and don't buy this light. Wait for version 2.0
