Streamlight Tlr8

I have 3 of these and love them. It always works. Being 60 yrs old it's hard to see iron sights in low light. I have reflex sights on my handguns as my main sight. I also want a light. If I can add a Laser with that light it's just one more option. If there's a situation where I can't bring the weapon to eye level or get a good sight picture around a corner I have the lasers

Streamlight TLR-8 Sub for 1913 LED Weapon Light w/Red Laser

I absolutely love my TLR-8 Sub. Fits perfectly on my P365 X Macro. Some might say you'll need to buy an after-market key to fit the weapon light flush with the trigger guard but after playing around with the fitment on the keys provided by Streamlight, purchasing an after-market key isn't necessary. As long as you tighten and mount your weapon light per the instructions, it's going to be a functional fit that won't budge/come loose when firing. Installation was easy to understand and I've shot about 500rds with the weapon light and so far it has been an absolute game changer.
Pros:
  • Easy to install.
  • multiple functions as both a light and laser.
Cons:
  • Not that many modular options as far as holsters/accessories. Difficult to find holsters IWB/OWB/Duty Carry
  • running an optic and the TLR-8 laser is difficult to co-witness but not impossible. Takes some adjusting.
Best Used for:
  • concealed carry all year

Broken in the Box

The electronics inside the housing are twisted. You can’t access the up/down adjustment. You can kinda see the adjustment screw, just no access. Found this out first trip to the range. Will be returning. Hope OP gives me a refund.
