Streamlight Green Trident Headlamp
I would recommend this headlamp for night fishing.
Pros: Perfect for night surf fishing. Provides plenty of light and is easy to change to different light settings.

Promised more and delivered less
This light is heavy for what you are getting. The LED works great and is as bright or brighter than the xenon. Not worth the extra weight. The Xenon light is a P.O.S.

Green Light
Bought my 1st 15 years ago, mainly to use the green setting walking in/out in the dark during hunting season. I misplaced it and bought another. Found the 1st (it still works), but I'm not unhappy that I have 2 since I use different packs for archery and rifle seasons. Very comfortable, has adjustable angle. 3 AAA batteries last a long time. Also has 2 white light settings.

nothing fancy
For the price it's okay. I have a kill light from elusive technologies and it's nowhere near that quality. Would recommend as simple search/spotlight.
