Very stable, holds zero
I installed this on my AKM. This works well to replace the rear sight with an optic. It works better than side mounts, because it holds zero. A side mount has to be removed every time to clean the AK, were as this doesn’t.

Good rail for the range
I didn't even bother to install it, returned for refund. Well made, nicely machined item. The way it mounts to the rifle doesn't seem that robust to me. You wouldn't want to roll around in the dirt with it. Probably great for the bench rest at the range.
Does not fit Hellpup correctly
It is 100% great quality but it does not fit my Hellpup the way it should. I’ll save it in case I need it for another.

AK OPTIC MOUNT
Truly was better than expected. Solid mount up although I wasnt confident at first. Once you get those screws down in there she is solid. Great option to replace rear sight!

Worked perfect
I HAD RECENTLY AQUIRED A DRACO AK47 PISTOL. AS WE ALREADY KNOW AK SIGHTS SUCK ON A FULL SIZE, LET ALONE A PISTOL. I PURCHASED THIS IN ORDER TO FACILITATE A RED DOT SIGHT. IT TOOK A COUPLE OF MINUTES TO FIGURE OUT MOUNTING IT TO THE DRACO BUT IT WAS A QUICK AND EASY INSTALL.

Trash, don't waste your money.
I bought this being optimistic, and really hoping it would work, and not be a piece of hot garbage but my intial expectations were pretty much spot on. This thing cannot, and will not ever allow your optic (or red dot in my case) to hold zero. It was all over the place. Doesn't matter how much red, or blue or any color loctite you use on the set screws. Not to mention it will mar the 3 points of contact (where the set screws touch your rear sight block) from moving around. This might work on an airsoft rifile but not a real firearm with any type of recoil at all. I usually love Strike products but this is a definite epic failure. Save up a little more and buy (no names lol) railed gas tube.

An inexpensive option compared to a railed dust cover
i didn’t have any trouble installing this rail. It sits secure due to the strong threads that hold it onto the front trunnion. It’s versatile and offers the option of using iron sights if your electronic sight goes out. Sighing it in is super easy using the small screws that keep it from rattling. I took one star off only because it sits a little high on the gun overall.

Strike Industries Sight Rail
Solid machining. Mounts solidly and easy to install and adjust. This is my second purchase of the strike rail, I liked the first one so much. Recommend it for a inexpensive way to scope your AK series rifle.
