I researched many items that promised to aid in cable management when mounting lights, lasers, etc. to my AR platform. Glad I purchased the Strike Industries Rail Covers. They totally delivered what they promised and more. I mounted a SureFire Scout Light to my DDM4V7 SLW and used a Modlite Modbutton Tape Switch as my on/off button. The Strike Rail Covers did a superb job neatly securing the 7" cable to my M-LOK handguard. They are amazing. Straight, 90 degree, 180 degree turns are no problem and fit and function are perfect. I will use the Strike Rail Covers on all my future projects.
Cons:
- Cost - However, you get what you pay for!

After the fashion of most all Strike Industries products, the AR Cable Management Covers are intelligently designed and robustly built. The business of routing cables through the channels on the covers' reverse sides is straightforward and the M-LOK mechanisms function smoothly and engage positively. Once installed, the cover's keep cables neatly tucked away, facilitate positive weak-hand grip, and look good. I respectfully suggest, however, that buyers mounting Cloud Defensive REIN-series weapon-lights stick with the shorter (1.57-inch) covers, which afford broader function when dealing with the relatively short cable-lengths peculiar to CD remote-switches. That's not an indictment of CD lights--which are spectacular. Rather, it's a statement of fact from someone who initially purchased the 3.14-inch covers and learned the hard way that they were too long for their intended purpose--which happened to be securing the remote-switch cabling of a REIN 3.0 Micro. Live and learn ...
Pros:
- Intelligent design, robust construction, solid function.
Best Used for:
- Accessory cable management.

Overall, these covers are great! Price point seems fair and the quality is true to strike. The covers are a bit thicker than i expected, but once i saw the cable tucked in there, it seems to be as thin as possible. This really cleans up the look of the rifle.
I wasnt sure how i was going to route the cable for my cloud rein micro, so I bought both the short and long covers. The rein doesnt have much slack, so i used two short covers to retain it. It was pretty tricky tucking it in the panels, but that was due to the thick and short cable.
I used a long cover to retain the cable on my protac, and this was much easier to configure since the cable wasn't as thick and there was more length.

Love the cable management built in but even at half the recommended torque of 20in/lb - the center breaks out. Anything past slightly snug with the screw and they are broken. Unfortunately a waste of money and went in the garbage.

These are great rail panels. They made it very easy to route the cables for my lights on 2 of my guns. They are the slightest bit thick, but that is to be expected. There's not really much else to say about them. They seem to be high quality and they do their job well.
