I have this on all my AR’s, great to have more space to press to lock bolt rearward. Easy to install with punch and REALLY makes a difference in use ability - zero down sides to installing this, you won’t regret it - so easy to use
Most Helpful Negative Review Weak Part!
I was pleasantly surprised at fist with the fit and finish. Once installed I did like the fell, But that's when my love ended. First time out on the second empty magazine it broke. I hope its just one bad one out of the bunch, but i'll get something else to replace this one.

SI AR-10 Enhanced Bolt Catch Great Upgrade

Strike Industries AR-10 Enhanced Bolt Catch is a great upgrade from the standard bolt catch. This was a simple drop in upgrade on an Aero Precision M5E1 in 308. All necessary parts for installation were included but not needed as the original parts fit perfectly with the SI enhanced bolt catch. I have been trying to pick up this upgrade since the original build but have had difficulties with CA. Shipping from other retailers who cancelled my orders, were out of stock, or charged way too much money for the part.

Thanks OP for supporting those of us living under CA gun laws.

Big enough to be useful. Small enough to not get in the way. That geissele maritime catch blocks the trigger pin during disassembly. So def get this one

I have used these in every build for almost a decade. It is the perfect Balance between being Big enough to enhance reloads but not to get in the way.

title says ar10 bolt catch

it does not function on a PSA 3rd gen 308 upper with 20 inch barrel. it has to be modified and still doesn't hold the bolt open. the upper cannot be modified whatsoever due to the super thin profile. the catch shape keeps it from engagement all the way into lock position. so far out of 4 I've installed none work. it's part the upper and part the catch. do better PSA, and strike industries do not buy this thinking it's going to fix the lrbho problem.
