Be very aware, that this will remove the most forward position of your buffer tube and the stock will not fully collapse in. For a lot of folks this probably is no problem at all, but it borders on commercial grade. Be aware of this before going to purchase. That being said, it's a good, hard and well-made part with a tight thread tolerance and definitely has strong anti-walk properties. If it was not such a bulky unit I would give it five stars, but I'm picky and like having what I'm used to as far as functionality. The QD points would be great for a PDW user, not for a duty carbine where chances are you only need one QD point, either on the endplate or on the stock. Two or three dots of non permanent Loctite 242 on a non-staked castle nut will do just as well for a hard end-user who may be taking the castle nut on and off with some regularity.
