Threading Warning- Great Product
First the warning to potential buyers. This product calls for specific thread length on the buffer tube. Not buffer tube length but the length of the threading on the tube where it mates with the lower receiver. This is because of the extra space the castle nut requires. I assumed a Geissele buffer ...

Good Hard Product, But...
Be very aware, that this will remove the most forward position of your buffer tube and the stock will not fully collapse in. For a lot of folks this probably is no problem at all, but it borders on commercial grade. Be aware of this before going to purchase. That being said, it's a good, hard and w...

Design compatabilty won't work with MIL spec buffer tube
Really liked the appearance of this item. Went to install it and couldn't get the buffer tube to seat in the receiver. Would not reach the retaining pin. Bought another tube at the LGS and same story. Visited the Strike web site for contact info and help. There is a warning on the Strike website for the TRIBUS that it requires more threads on the tube than a MIL spec tube. Says the tube SI-AR-ARE-T7-BK they sell is specifically designed to work with the upgrade. That will be $60 more thank you. CS was quick and clear I'll give them that.
Pros:
- unique
Cons:
- Not enough information in description
Best Used for:
- Sling mount options

Strike Industries AR Enhanced Castle Nut
Fantastic fit and finish. Much more substantial than mil-spec. Works well and looks great!

Great product
Looks great on the Rifle. Just for info to other buyers. Standard buffer tubes WILL NOT work with these. The threaded part on the buffer tube is too short. You will need a Strike Industries enhanced buffer tube. The threads on these are longer and allow the buffer to be properly installed into the lower.

Must have for your next build or addition to your current setup
This is the answer to one of the most boring parts of an AR. Well made, easy to install and looks great. I like the fact that this eliminates having to stake the castle nut. The multiple QD mounting points is a great addition giving you multiple attachment points. Definitely a must have item!

Strike Industries Enhanced Castle Nut and Extended End Plate
I love Strike Industries parts. The Castle Nut is a great addition to my M4 build. The End Plate was a bit of a surprise and I don’t really care to run without a buffer pin, but the set works great without the buffer pin. I’ll be getting a drop-in captured sound and recoil mitigation system soon anyway.
I love how it looks. The staking system works great, holding even with an Atrius Super Selector installed into the M4. I haven’t put many rounds down range but I have tested the build. There was no slipping from the castle nut during sustained fire.
I fully recommend Strike Industries parts for a nice look, and because of their well-known standards in functionality and compatibility.

Lil More Info Would Have been Great
It looks great. Well looked great, a standard castle nut wrench WILL NOT work. I wound up scratching mine finding that out the hard way. Also there can be a discrepancy with the thread fitment as well.
Once I got the correct spanner wrench to get it to torque to spec and the thread issues worked out after contacting SI sure it's fine, however, had I known it was going to be all of that I would not have bothered. It really serves no other purpose than looking good. There are plenty of other castle nuts and end plates that will give you the extra QD mount and have the correct castle nut spacing for a whole lot less.

Small Print
Due to dimensional tolerances between some manufacturers receiver extension collar lengths and different amount of the threads on various buffer tubes, some may experience difficulties installing. Strike Industries will need to be contacted for assistance. Would have been nice to know prior to purchase.
Pros:
- Quality built for the money
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes

Strike Industries for the win
This is my second purchase of the Strike Industries Enhanced Castle Nut and in my opinion it’s the best. Not only are the QD points a great add to this, but it is super easy to install. This time I paired it with their buffer tube for the ultimate in looks and function. My AR builds will always have some Strike Industries parts because of the quality, looks and usability.
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Looks great
- Functions well
Cons:
- Little pricey

love the fit and finish of this product
As others stated it will not fit the standard length threads on a buffer tube you would need an extended thread pattern . Other then that it looks real nice with my build atleast , love how it has the locking tab for the buffer retainer pin . Overall i like the product
