I love Strike Industries parts. The Castle Nut is a great addition to my M4 build. The End Plate was a bit of a surprise and I don’t really care to run without a buffer pin, but the set works great without the buffer pin. I’ll be getting a drop-in captured sound and recoil mitigation system soon anyway.
I love how it looks. The staking system works great, holding even with an Atrius Super Selector installed into the M4. I haven’t put many rounds down range but I have tested the build. There was no slipping from the castle nut during sustained fire.
I fully recommend Strike Industries parts for a nice look, and because of their well-known standards in functionality and compatibility.
Pros:
- tactical look
- Fully Functional
- Industry Icon

It looks great. Well looked great, a standard castle nut wrench WILL NOT work. I wound up scratching mine finding that out the hard way. Also there can be a discrepancy with the thread fitment as well.
Once I got the correct spanner wrench to get it to torque to spec and the thread issues worked out after contacting SI sure it's fine, however, had I known it was going to be all of that I would not have bothered. It really serves no other purpose than looking good. There are plenty of other castle nuts and end plates that will give you the extra QD mount and have the correct castle nut spacing for a whole lot less.

Adds QD sling spots. Looks great. Fits great. You will need a spanner wrench to tighten - standard castle nut wrench will not work.
Pros:
- Fit and Function
- cosmetically look good
Cons:
- cost
- does not use standard ar tools

Due to dimensional tolerances between some manufacturers receiver extension collar lengths and different amount of the threads on various buffer tubes, some may experience difficulties installing. Strike Industries will need to be contacted for assistance. Would have been nice to know prior to purchase.
Pros:
- Quality built for the money

This is my second purchase of the Strike Industries Enhanced Castle Nut and in my opinion it’s the best. Not only are the QD points a great add to this, but it is super easy to install. This time I paired it with their buffer tube for the ultimate in looks and function. My AR builds will always have some Strike Industries parts because of the quality, looks and usability.
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Looks great
- Functions well

As others stated it will not fit the standard length threads on a buffer tube you would need an extended thread pattern . Other then that it looks real nice with my build atleast , love how it has the locking tab for the buffer retainer pin . Overall i like the product

Very good product nothing else like it on the market…. makes for a very clean professional look. not to mention you do not have to stake the castle nut, it comes with its own tightening mechanism

Got this, first problem, does not fit a Mil-Spec buffer tube. Will need to buy extended thread buffer tube or rifle length tube. Second problem, does not use standard armorers wrench need to buy extra tool for this job. Good idea terrible execution. I ill not be buying from this company again
Cons:
- Sizing and proportions are off
- does not use standard ar tools
