strikes upper and lower parts
I bought all the lower parts in red including the forward assistance and they really make the AR stand out the forward assistance was super simple to install but I have a Aero Precision upper witch makes all the difference no roll pins o have bought tons at other Strikes parts for n the past none have ever failed me
Strike Industries Extended Forward Assist
For mil-spec forward assist replacement, this is my go to part. Great design and finish. Tight tolerance, not sloppy. Functions flawlessly and a great Optics Planet price! Strike industries, please make OD green!

SI extended forward assist
Easy upgrade over the standard forward assist. Punch out the roll pin an pull out the forward assist and spring (if already installed) slide the SI forward assist into the housing, pressure down on the forward assist, install the roll pin, and it’s finished. At most, a 5 minute install. Functions as it should while adding a bit more surface area to work. Works great with gloves. Does not extended too far to snag on clothing, slings, etc. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful FDE Color - Like
Anodizing is normally a toss up bc the metals take the color differently. You never quite know what you’re going to get it. I’ve ordered these a few times and the FDE has consistently been a very pretty rich dark gold color. They lean towards a satin finish vs glossy. You know how Geiselle’s 50 shades of FDE can range from pretty to pretty ugly. They can range from the very functional almost mud color, to a IMO a beautiful dark Gold/Bronze and then the opposite of the spectrum w a fugly shiny gold like it’s grill from a rap video in the 2000’s .. like my 16” Super Duty that I ordered and never should’ve kept.. it’s pretty much the opposite of that.

works well
I found Strike industries parts to be well made and in the USA. This part gives good grippage especially when wearing gloves or moist conditions and they come in cool colors! Forward assists are rarely used in practical shooting by me so I have been buying uppers without it but if you do have the cutout you have to put something in the hole or it will not cycle properly and could lead to dirt and fouling, parts breakdown , jamming cant go wrong with Strike Ind parts!
