It fit perfect in my Aero Precision M5 308. No sanding on the one I got, but may want to back off adjustment screw before you close it. closed mine and had a hard time getting it back open. If Strike Industries makes the aluminum one for the ar-10 like the ar-15 I well be try it.

Purchased this to install on my palmetto state AR 10 and it doesn't fit . I love the look color and design . However it is not an universal fit . More information on brands that it fits would be helpful

Fixed a problem

This was all I could find to fix my port door cover rod from falling out with my PRI hand-guard and Aero M5E1 upper . Works great. Wish you could get it with caliber engraving.

does not fit the dpms lr308 upper

The idea is great but the dust cover does not fit the dpms lr308 upper. The spring on the dust cover also is very weak. Once i modified mine to fit the dpms upper the door would not open all the way when the rifle was charged.

Easiest ejection port cover to install that I have done thus far. I really like the look and feel of polymer over metal and will be replacing more.

Dust Cover

Looks to be good qualtiy, doesnt fit my Grey Ghost Precision upper very well. Hangs up and wont open with out pulling it open. And hard to shut.
