Width is too thick and holes do not align - Strike Industries Billet Fang Style Trigger Guard

the front part of the trigger guard is too thick. had to sand (obviously removing anodized paint) it to fit. then realized the holes do not align perfectly with the lower receiver. visually, it looks like they are aligned but screws only work with either hole only. trashed it since return isn't accepted and no response from manufacturer.
