matches well with strike industries pistol stabilizer/brace
Written on Feb 21, 2019
length is shorter than factory buffer tube. but with provided buffer spring, pulling the charging handle is so much smoother than the factory (franklin armory). wish it had holes or indentations at the bottom for stabilizer/brace mounting screw so that it's perfectly aligned.

roll pin R&R is not easy

Review for
Strike Industries AR Enhanced Bolt Catch
bolt catch design is much better than factory bolt catch. wish more colors were available. roll pin R&R is not easy and didn't want to scratch lower receiver in the process. i tapped out factory roll pin just enough to remove bolt catch and installed new bolt catch and tapped existing roll pin back in. used masking tape on a plier and squeezed to insert roll pin back in. much easier than tapping it.

unique ar pistol brace / stabilizer

Review for
Strike Industries AR Pistol Stabilizer Brace
most pistol owners go with sb tactical or shockwave brace. sb tactical is pricey and shockwave doesn't look that good. this one is at price point of shockwave and yet looks much better. feels great on cheek. wish it was adjustable but no complaints. there's one screw to hold brace in place on the buffer tube. make sure not to tighten the screw over 25 in-lb.

second time buying radian charging handle
Written on Feb 21, 2019
was satisfied with first charging handle from radian and bought another radian charging handle. wish the red color would somewhat match with strike industries' anodized red color but this red is much darker. that's the only reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5. at least it's not that noticeable from distance. ambi charging handle is a must for southpaws.

easy install
Written on Feb 21, 2019
use provided crush washer. tried to use existing crush washer but when tightened JCOMP, alignment was way off. used SI's provided crush washer and alignment was perfect when hand tightened. when tightened slightly with wrench, alignment is now slightly off centered. this is only reason for 4 stars.

must have for AR owners

Review for
Tapco Intrafuse AR Magazine Vise Block
once inserted into the receiver, it feels wobbly but does its job. price is just right as well. bought it to remove muzzle brake, but also used it for forward assist, bolt catch install. if you are AR owner and R&R parts yourself, then this is highly recommended (assuming you already have a vice).

width is too thick and holes do not align
Written on Feb 21, 2019
the front part of the trigger guard is too thick. had to sand (obviously removing anodized paint) it to fit. then realized the holes do not align perfectly with the lower receiver. visually, it looks like they are aligned but screws only work with either hole only. trashed it since return isn't accepted and no response from manufacturer.

Exactly what I needed

Review for
Magpul RVG Rail Vertical Grip
It's light, grip feel is excellent. Keeps my hand "cleaner" instead of holding onto the handguard. Much better than angled foregrip I had previously. Keep in mind that Picatinny rail is not included. Highly recommended for AR style owners.

Installed on Beretta CX4 Storm PCC

Review for
Vortex Crossfire Red Dot Sight
did online research to find a red dot to cowitness with iron sights on beretta cx4 storm 9mm pistol caliber carbine. 1/3 lower mount sits perfectly. zeroing is easy once iron sights are zeroed in. since cx4 storm is a light rifle, i wanted light and compact red dot. i was initially quite hesitant because it's newly released model from vortex and there just wasn't enough reviews. works great and have no complaints.
