S.i. cookie cutter comp (.233) - Strike Industries Cookie Cutter Compensator

I have ordered several of these comps for my brace-less ar pistols after trying one at the local shooting range. For a small reduction in sensed recoil, the cookie cutter will temporarily lift dust and small debris when shot from the bench (looks a bit like the dust is jumping around in a rave). Not a big deal since the dust is kept away from your face. The gas from the ports is felt fron any angle, but it is most tolerable from directly behind the pistol when outdoors. A file wrapped in several thin disposeable shop towels (for padding) and slipped through the gas ports is what I have used to screw on the comp when the handguard covers the wrench flats at the base of the comp.
