Strike Industries Cookie Cutter Comp
Put this on an AR pistol with 7.5" barrel and 7" Seekings Precision MCSR rail. Adds a bit of weight, and is very loud, but looks great (in my opinion), and serves the purpose I purchased it for. Dramatically reduces muzzle rise compared to standard birdcage flash hider.
Zero recoil
Zero recoil with this comp. It has some weight to it over all tho it looks great on the 7in with zero recoil. If you dont have one and looking for something to keep that muzzle down grab this

S.I. Cookie Cutter Comp (.233)
I have ordered several of these comps for my brace-less ar pistols after trying one at the local shooting range. For a small reduction in sensed recoil, the cookie cutter will temporarily lift dust and small debris when shot from the bench (looks a bit like the dust is jumping around in a rave). Not a big deal since the dust is kept away from your face. The gas from the ports is felt fron any angle, but it is most tolerable from directly behind the pistol when outdoors. A file wrapped in several thin disposeable shop towels (for padding) and slipped through the gas ports is what I have used to screw on the comp when the handguard covers the wrench flats at the base of the comp.

Brutal concussive forces!!!
It does handle recoil. Put it on my 12.5" .308 with an A5 setup and it is tamed to at least controllable. But anyone even remotely near will shudder. Not bad for the shooter but be careful of the blast zone when resting on bags or barricades. Blew my field bag clean off the shooting bench minus some pieces. I may not have won the fireball contest with my son and his 10" PTR but it was close and mine was way more pleasant to shoot.
