Srike Industries CZ Polymer Handguard
This thing is so cool looking. I love it. Except...the fit is way tighter than the factory handguard. Which means you will need to loosen the handguard to field strip and clean the weapon. The take down pin will not budge with it fully installed. I chose this polymer handgaurd because I upgraded the charging handle and from what I gathered aluminum and polymer don't play nice together. Except for the extra step in loosening the handguard to remove the take down pin to clean I think this is a great upgrade.

Nice hand guard but needs to be improved.
Bought this hand guard with the faux can. Love the fit and look but was not happy with the way the charging handle falls out and becomes loose. There should be some type of pin or something to keep this from happening. The factory hand guard has a plastic pin to prevent this. I ended up putting a roll pin in it to stop the charging handle from falling out. Which solved the problem. The gun still functions by pulling back on the charging handle but when released it can fall too far forward and become annoyingly loose. It would be a simple fix for SI to fix this defect. If I had to do it all over I would have went with a different hand guard even though I love the look of this one.

Its a great looking handguard and i just ordered a faux suppressor to go with it i have not attempted to take the barrel nut off yet i hear it can be real pain in the butt

What a upgrade for about 100$ less than Aluminum. Very happy with my purchase, I also purchased the Faux suppressor separately too. Gun looks awesome, and I still saved money compared to the Aluminum.

Excellent quality, great fit!
Very impressed with the quality on this part. Feels more solid than the factory handguard, looks better, fits like a glove with NO play at all. The part itself was very easy to install. Taking off the barrel nut from the CZ though, is a whole different fight. It is not anywhere near as easy as the installation video makes it look and you better be prepared! Not SI's fault, its the CZ factory being generous with high strength thread lock. If you want this part on your scorpion, you better get the barrel nut tool, a vice, some kind of adhesive debonder or a torch because that barrel nut is about to test your patience. Some are easier than others but most report needing these preparations, and I'm extremely glad I knew that going into this.
