Flat version does not work
The diameter of the hole is too big or the metal is too thin. QD swivel comes right out. completely useless. I got the flat version, did not try the angled version.
I usually like Strike Industries products, but this one is a dud.

Great quality and design but doesn’t work with HBI Handguard
I’ve been a very big fan of Strike products the past few years. Design style, function, materials, and budget are all boxes checked when they make a product. Same goes for the qd mount for the evo. It fits perfectly in the block section it’s designed to go in however I wasn’t able to use it on my micro as the micro uses the HB Industries aluminum guard. The guard doesn’t have the clearances section to clear where this needs to protrude out so alas I will set it aside for when I get a carbine or another evo. I did get the flat version however I think if you get the angled one it’s be better because then it has clearance to get a clip hook or a different style of clasp if you have more than just QD style.
