Most Helpful Positive Review Inexpensive option for mag extension
Bought 3 to replace my TTI mag extensions, after a couple months of outside training on concrete the TTI started to break and dent on the bottom. The strike industries so far are more durable and a huge plus is they are half the price of TTI. Well worth the money!

Strike Industries mag extension

by Tc, Verified Owner from WV, United States Written on December 22, 2024
These look absolutely incredible when used in the Wilson's combat grip modules!
Pros:
  • I like the quality, weight & they are+4 +4. They do come with springs!
Cons:
  • Not really a con, but if you want to attach the provided springs to your oem followers, you will need to lightly crimp the spring with pliers. No biggie
Best Used for:
  • Wilson's combat grip module, (my opinion)

Inconsistent

by B, Verified Owner from NM, United States Written on November 18, 2024
I purchased two of these. One was able to fit 22 rounds, I wouldn't fully load it though. Its simply too snug with 22 rounds. The other one would only fit 20 rounds at absolute max. But it's too snug for the full 20. So in reality I recieved a +5 and a +3. Which is actually +4 and +2.

they are alright

by ben, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on August 25, 2024
Its nice to have the +5 but the springs get stuck a lot. I dont load mine to 22 because if you load the gun with one of the chamber it overloads an drops the mag. I would say and spend the money on a new Sig 21 round magazine

With a Litttle Work, It's Compatible with the 21-Round Magazine

by Jake De Muss, from New Zealand Written on May 7, 2024
The reason Strike Industries said it' not compatible with the 21-round magazines was because they only provided you with the 13-coil spring. The SI Aluminum Extended Magazine Plate comes with 14-coil spring. I ended up buying the 14-coil spring from Henning Group for less than $8 and now I have a 26-round magazine that will work with an SI EMP Pocket Clip and magwell. No issues with functionality and locked back on the last round and you can drop these plastic EMP on the ground all day.
Pros:
  • afforable
Cons:
  • 21-round OEM mags are cheaper
Best Used for:
  • hi capacity mags

Quality inexpensive extensions

by Gundaddy777, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on January 28, 2024
Make sure to do your research first. I carry a p320 x-vtac, and i wanted to up my carry abilities from 17. Surprisingly, 2 of the extensions transformed my 17rd mags into 23rd mags. I have no complaints. Just make sure you install them correctly. It can be a bit confusing on how to get the spring and mag in place, but it's easy when you figure it out. Make sure to screw the grub screw in all the way with the metal flange put in the correct way. I'd honestly buy again. But for the price of genuine sig mags, i just buy extra 21rd extended mags from Sig. Cheers
Pros:
  • +5 possibly +6 rounds
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • carry
  • Tactical

Because I needed more than 15...

by LT, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on January 8, 2024
The P320 already has a massive capacity, and even though I don't hear too many folks using a 320 as their carry, I do. And now my capacity is 20 + 1 instead of the already generous 15 + 1. I will admit that the installation was a bit tricky, but anyone can do it if you think it through.

Not for P320 Compact

by Jamison, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on July 13, 2023
P320 Compact is different than the Carry. Compact has 15round steel mags while the Carry comes with 17 as it’s the “full” length handle part.

These will lock into the steel mags that come with a P320 Compact but won’t lock in as the tabs interfere with the bottom face of the grip. Some modifications would be needed to run these extensions.

by Austin Hejny, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on April 10, 2023
The SI Extended Magazine Plate is a great addition to your factory Sig 17rd Magazines. It is compatible with base model P320/M17/M18. I cannot speak on behalf of the other variants. Install is super simple too. Worth the money.
Pros:
  • sleek
  • Easy Insallation
  • afforable
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Training
  • Range fun

Does not work with AXG magwell or Xframe with magwell

by dave j, Verified Owner from KS, United States Written on February 20, 2023
Works on all factory grip modules except the AXG and X-frames with factory magwells. Otherwise great product, works as designed and increases capacity and looks good. The new spring works well and no failures to feed or lock the slide back when empty. Will buy some more for my Glock

Does not lock in some grip modules

by Tristin, Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on December 30, 2022
Ordered these a while back for a grip module I was waiting for, worked in the m18 one but the one that just came in does not work, it will stay up but not lock, and too late to return, bummer that this did not end up working
