It’s a great option for cheap recoil control. She’s a little loud tho so if your shooting indoors get the oppressor to go with it

The Strike Industries JCOMP V2 Muzzle Brake has been an excellent upgrade to my rifle. Installation was straightforward, and the machining quality was immediately noticeable — clean lines, solid finish, and a design that looks as good as it performs.
At the range, the difference was clear. Recoil impulse feels smoother and more controlled, which makes follow-up shots faster and keeps the rifle flatter during strings of fire. Muzzle rise is noticeably reduced without creating an over-the-top concussion like some aggressive brakes can. It strikes a really nice balance between performance and shooter comfort.
I also appreciate the hybrid design — it offers compensation and flash reduction, making it a practical choice for both range days and more serious setups. After several outings, it’s held up perfectly with no signs of wear or loosening.

Needed a muzzle device for my upper and this Strike Industries was the perfect fit. Great price and shipping was fast , definitely recommend.

It’s a great product and easy to assemble to your rifle. I had it on my PSA gen 3 Ak in less than a minute and it dramatically reduced recoil and recovery on target.as a plus it makes my Ak look more intimidating but it is a bit louder. I would highly recommend this product.

The j comp is my go to on all my rifles. It works really well at reducing recoil and muzzle climb without being obnoxiously loud, for the price it’s a no brainer.

Ran a 2-gun match with it on my AR. Stays on target for faster follow up shots much better than an A2 birdcage. A bit noisy and concussive at the indoor range when sighting it in, but not nearly as bad as some of the more aggressive brakes. Like others said, a standard armorers wrench won't fit. Just use an adjustable wrench. Good compromise between performance and shootability.
