Very effective, and very concussive
Do not let anyone fool you: this thing will unleash a blast, and everyone will notice it, yourself included. It will feel like a cannon is going off nearby. I put the SI Oppressor on mine for when I'm shooting indoors.
That said, with it off, it feels like cheating. Your recoil is almost completely eliminated. With good technique, this will let your AR feel like a laser gun.. albeit with a free flashbang on every shot. This improvement was night and day. Plus, it looks fairly slick.
Not recommended for use indoors.
HOLY RECOIL REDUCTION
I have an underfolder Zastava AK and it had a reasonable amount of recoil. I stuck this thing on it and boom, I could shoot it without the stock getting good groups. Totally recommend this but the locking mechanism, that is for AKs, needs a little dremmeling because it is a little off

Effective but needs some tweaks
The brake does not come with a crusher washer but that not a problem if you have an ak, which I have. Also, for ak’s, the gap where the muzzle pin pops into to lock the muzzle device is slightly high so I had to dremmel it a little.

if you want to reduce felt recoil by over 60% for cheap this is the compensator for you. works like a charm on my AK and my AR. makes the gun sound wayyyy more scary too

Comp V2 Brake
Probably the BEST bang for your buck muzzle brake. Has the AK detect notch built in so perfect timing right out of the box. Lowered recoil by at LEAST 70%! Love the look of this brake and has been a blast to use! (Concussion blast out the sides is crazy but it makes it even cooler lol)

Great muzzle device

308 AK brake; This is the one
I've tried multiple brakes to try and tame muzzle whip and recoil on my 308 Zastava M77. It dramatically reduces felt recoil impulse and muzzle rise, while not blasting anyone on your flanks. Since they stopped making the century arms chevron brake, this is your substitute.

Great compensator
I attached to my 7.62X39 AR and it works great I felt a lot of the recoil was gone and the muzzle rise was also reduce greatly. I recommend this product
