I've tried multiple brakes to try and tame muzzle whip and recoil on my 308 Zastava M77. It dramatically reduces felt recoil impulse and muzzle rise, while not blasting anyone on your flanks. Since they stopped making the century arms chevron brake, this is your substitute.
Pros:
- light weight
- Tames recoil
- reduces muzzle climb
Cons:
- Detent spring notch needs to be cut a milimeter deeper
Best Used for:
- M77 Zastava .308 win
