Far superior to the first version
I bought the original Oppressor lite and now the Oppressor lite v2. The Oppressor lite version 1 locked up on my rifle and is now permanently stuck in the unlock position. It was garbage. The Oppressor lite version 2 is great, and I recommend them to anyone with a Strike Industries compensator or br...

Broken after 50 rounds
The SI Oppressor Lite V2 is a great looking product. I had it tucked inside a SI Gridlok Lite hand guard and attached to a SI Triple Crown muzzle break. The spacing and fitment was perfect. Both the hand guard and Oppressor were brand new.
Unfortunately, after only 50 rounds or so, the metal coil u...

Great alternative to the regular oppressor
Does as good a job as the regular oppressor attachment with the benefit of reduced weight

The Strike Lite V2
if you have a Strick Muzzle this is a must have. I was able to shoot any 556 or 223 round and get the benefit of the King but with this, and its so light you dont even notice it other than it looks awesome, but it quiets it down significantly and in my judgement, shot better with 0-rise of the barrel regardless, again, of the ammo used or if it was single or FRT. Will be ordering more

This is stuck on my JCOMPv2 muzzle now?
I have to contact SI but when I put this over my JCOMPv2, and twisted it with the clicks, now its stuck… no matter how hard I tried to remove it..
The only reason why I bought this because I couldn’t add the 3 Lug piece that came with my Oppressor Universal on my 14.5” 5.56 barrel.. not enough space with the JCOMP.
Now its stuck…. this is not great
Heard Functionality is good, saw on youtube the holes on this actually divert the gases

Strike Industries Oppressor Lite V2
Honestly, I’m impressed. It’s super lightweight but still feels solid, which is exactly what I was looking for. Installation on my Kuna was straightforward using the King Comp Mini, no headaches there. It locks up tight without any wiggle and makes a noticeable difference in the sound for those around me. For the price, the quality is top-notch.
Pros:
- Light weight and easy mount
- Inexpencive
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Range use
- indoor range

Broke on first shot
So I bought a Strike Industries hand guard because I wanted this Oppressor to fit in it which was not cheap and also heavy. I got the triple crown muzzle brake and this oppressor with the hand guard which set me back a couple hundred, and got it fitted by a professional gunsmith. After the first shot the back ring broke off. No idea where it went somehow but I could feel the gas hitting my hand the next couple shots as I hadn’t notice it was broken.
I didn’t really feel like it did a whole also. Granted I only got that first shot off but still. I don’t think Strike Industries is a bad company but now I’m stuck with a hand guard that is pretty heavy for a 10.5” and a muzzle brake that I likely won’t use.
That leaves me with my last thought. Optics Planet was amazing at handling my frustration with this product. I explained my situation and asked for a refund. They answered me same day and sent me everything I needed to send it back. Within a week I had store credit, super amazing and huge props to Optics Planet. And the only reason it didn’t get 1 star.
