Functionally worthless - Strike Industries REX - Reflex Exoskeleton

This may be common knowledge that I'm just now learning, but I've found that Strike Industries products look tacti-cool but are completely worthless in real-life use. This SI REX is the perfect example. The first time I mounted the REX, the cross bolt that mounts to the rail sheared off at the threads. It is the thinnest, most flimsy mounting bolt I've ever seen on a rail mount. After receiving a replacement from OP, I was sure to not overtighten the bolt as recommended. Just as finger-tight as I could make it. Within the course of a single 35-round magazine, the mount had worked itself loose. Tighten back down finger-tight and the zero had changed. I repeated 2 additional times before becoming fed up with this piece of junk. Bottom line: looks cool when on display, may protect red dot when your gun is in the safe. But when you actually fire the gun, don't expect the mount to stay put.
