I've got this on an M&P 15-22 with mostly Magpul FDE parts and the FDE on this doesn't match at all. It doesn't bother me on this particular rifle but for a nicer build I wouldn't use this is I wanted it to match. Functionally, I've got large hands and can still get a comfortable grip with all 4 fingers inside even though it's not my preferred hold. It tightens down exactly as m-lok should and feels like a solid connection that can take some abuse. For the $$ you can't go wrong.
