Not machined completely
There were no screw holes on the bottom bracket. Strike Industries will not get back to me on a replacement and won’t answer the phone. I have an 80 dollar paperweight. Strike Industries customer service really sucks!

Not a good product
Product came with screws that were very soft. They went on but when it came to taking off the top cover to clean the gas tube the screws stripped extremely easily. The metal was so soft even my easy out would not extract the screws. The handguard had to be "forcibly" removed from the rifle.

Not too shabby
I was very excited to purchase the trax 1 and trax 2 handguards because it didn't require any permanent alterations to my ak, like other extended handguards that require the removal and/or alteration to the handguard retainer. The trax 1 that was shipped to me came with the incorrect barrel clamps. I got in contact with Strike Industires and they shipped the correct part to me very quickly. Intstalation was easy. Downside, access to the gas tube is restricted because the top portion of the trax 1 has to be screwed into the lower portion. Over all it's a solid handguard with some minor gaps in between the receiver and the gas tube.
