This is my 5th set of Strike Industries high sights,and not my last. They look awesome, finishing my guns with a great look. I paint 3 light layers of white Testors model paint, followed by 3 light coats of their fluorescent orange on the entire front sight and on a tiny vertical line centered on the rear. This makes the sights so incredibly fast for my old eyes and the eyes of new firearms teaining clients. BEWARE: You will never find sights with a tighter sight dovetail fit. Use a padded vice, a good file, and be smooth and patient. It's worth it.

I was looking for a decent set of Iron Sights to replace the damaged polymer factory sights on my Taurus G2C 9mm pistol.
So reluctantly, I ordered these sights not really expecting much to get excited about. When they arrived in the normally timely fashion, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sights. The nicely machined components have a consistent finish on them. They look good & fit on the pistol slide really well. The rear sight slides into the dovetail groove fairly well & snug. But not so close of a tolerance to require a pricey sight pusher for installation. It secures into place very well with the included Allen head set screw. The front sight fits into place fairly well & is secured into place with its own set screw as well. Much like the factory original. These sights have indentions you can “fill in” with the included “Blue glow in the dark paint” or pick your own preferred color of enamel paint to use. Appropriate Allen wrenches are included with the sights to facilitate the installation. These may not be the sights one may choose if you are involved in longer distance precision or competitive target shooting. But then a pistol with a 3 1/4” barrel is probably not the best weapon of choice for that purpose either. I have to say that for the money, you would be hard pressed to find a better choice for a basic set of iron sights for your conceal carry, close range, personal protection firearm.
