This and one other part cannot be used. This will not work with a MagPul rifle stock/rifle buffer tube.

Very simple install

I always find the concept of changing my castle nut very intimidating, because i feel like I'd mess it up. But with this version, it was very simple and straight forward. So far ive put my gun through 400 rounds since the replacement, and it hasnt gotten loose at all!

I had to file away the edges of the anti-rotation tab to make it fit on a mil spec tube.

Great quality product. FDE matched my lower and Strike Ind buffer tube perfectly. The set screw made the detent spring even easier to install. Nice touch for a build. I like that no staking is required due to the set screw keeping yhe castle nut in place.

Works for most

The product does what it describes. Two negative points for me. One I put it on an SA quick detach stock adapter which wouldn't fit due to the QD point being on both sides. I had to modify it by filing off one side. Not a big deal but a point non the less. Also the little screws they send for the anti rotation castle nut are too short, you have to leave them backed out to work. They send lock tite with the screws but I don't think it will hold.

Light and tight!!!

Awesome upgrade to my build. Love the options for sling attachments and the color contrast. The anti rotation system works perfectly on the Strike industry enhanced buffer tube and Aero Precision Enhanced Lower...super tight. Takes some patience to install but not having to stake the castle nut is a big plus. Would definitely buy again if I could.

  • Light, tight fit and QD mount is perfect.
Cons:
  • Tricky installation.
Best Used for:
  • Tactical and rapid fire.

Solid Fit!

Purchased this for a new build. The FDE is like a non-gloss gold, anodization, and high-quality material. Both are extremely light and appear to be durable. Used to attach an OD Aero Precision Enhanced AR15 Carbine Buffer Tube to an Aero Precision Enhanced M4E1 Upper. A bit challenging to install the Anti-Rotation screw correctly but once installed it secures the buffer tube assembly to the receiver very tight. The color contrast is very sharp; will purchase another in Red.
