Rear plate would not fit a new Glock 17c gen5

Had high hopes for this device to mount a Holoson red dot. unfortunately the replacement rear plate (strike SURF) was not compatible with the grooves in the rear of my slide. when measured with calibers, there was a notable width difference. I had high hopes for this item it was returned. I instead ordered the strike GUM and have had no issues

Great quality plate

Well designed and manufactured optic adaptor plate. Easy install and no thicker than neccessary. I don't know if I will use the cocking handle, but I plan to give it a try next time out.

My first Strike Industries Plate

I'm an experienced Red Dot Shooter from way back in the 80's when I competed in IPSIC.. In those days the Dots were primitive and the mounts even more so. This is the finest and most versatile plate I've bought to date. The manufacturing quality is top notch. I used it on my Glock 17C to fit a closed optic with a Leupold Pro pattern. It works like a charm. Next time out I may try the Cocking Handle. Good Shooting
