Strike monopod
Got this in conjunction with the stock. yes its a little slow to get on but it works great and is built well, metal construction. Will be best used at the range, it does its job. I would recommend this to some looking for a cheaper alternative for a mono-pod set up.

Worst monopod ever!!!
I mounted this P.O.S. to my rifle then go to tighten this P.O.S. and it breaks the mounting part isn't steel. Don't buy this you'll regret it. I've bought another one that was more expensive but it was steel. No problem mounting.

Good but proprietary
These are a really good addition to a precision rifle stock but the problem is that they made the clamp angled so it only fits their brand of stocks. They work great on the stocks they were made for. They can be fanagled to work on a picantinny rail but needs a little bit of the clamp removed.
Would recommend: Yes
SI MFS Monopod
I purchased this mono-pod along with the SI Modular Fixed Stock and Extended But Pad. It seems like it is well made and I have yet to try it out. It is only compatible with the SI MFS which is a shame as I have other fixed stocks and it would be great if I could use it on those as well. I will test it out and give an update to me review.
Pros:
- Quality
Cons:
- not compatable with other fixed stocks
Would recommend: Yes
Monopod works but only with proprietary hardware
The monopod works well great manufacturing but is only compatible with manufacturers hardware. There’s no adapters available and cannot be modified without machining. Other than that it’s very well built and a lot higher quality than expected due to the relative low cost.
Pros:
- High qaulity
Cons:
- Not adaptable to other manufacturers mounts
Would recommend: No
Meh just use a shooting bag
This seemed like a good mono-pod at first and it fits the stock nicely but when I used it on my ar-10 it caused it to shift and move so it was no longer mounted on the ground. It is a cool concept but does not have any way to keep it from shifting. If they fixed this problem it would be perfect.
Pros:
- easy to use
Cons:
- Moves when weight is added
- loud adjustments
Would recommend: No

Only works with SI fixed stock
It's a solid, quick adjust monopod that will only work with the fixed stock. If that's good for you, then buy one. If your not okay with a fixed position stock, then don't buy one. Simple. Might get another and see if I can modify to work with a Luth AR rifle stock. For $20, I am comfortable taking my chances
Best Used for:
- As a monopod on a stock
Would recommend: Yes

Strike Industries Viper MFS Monopod
The Strike Industries Viper MFS Monopod is a great purchase when using Strike Industries new Viper Stock. It stores easily within the stocks framework, and is easy to detach and mount. I have only used the monopod one at the range so I don't know how durable everything is. I have mine on a 7.62x39 AR rifle that is used off a bench (in a blind) for Western Washington deer.
Pros:
- Easy to use and seems durable
Cons:
- none so far
Best Used for:
- General shooting on any firm surface
Would recommend: Yes
