This rubber buttpad completes the Strike Industries MOD-1 buttstock. It is tactile and makes holding your rifle easier as it limits movement on your shoulder. It will add about a little more than an ounce of weight to the buttstock, but its utility is invaluable when it comes to making steady shots from the shoulder. The other added benefit is that if you stand your rifle up against something for temporary storage, the rubber pad will keep the rifle from slipping on the ground and falling over. Nice addition!
Pros:
- Holds on to shoulder very well
- Fits perfectly on the Mod-1 buttstock
Cons:
- Adds a little more than 1oz of weight to the buttstock
Best Used for:
- Steady shooting from the shoulder
