Great stock for the price, but quality control is severly lacking - Strike Industries Modular Fixed Stock

So, first off, I like strike ind. products. They're cheap, stylish, and, for the most part, get the job done.
However, in each of their products there are decisions made and quality issues that put them at the airsoft mid-tier level of quality and below sometimes.

In this particular case, I had to spend 2 hours tapping and rethreading both the stock and the mounting screw because they left a mess inside the stock mount (metal shavings, only partial threading, a real lazy job if you ask me). Then, I have to ask, why use a phillips screw in combination with a metric allen screw? I don't want to have to lug around a tool kit to work on my rifle. Note to future manufactures, make all screws the size of M-lok allen screws. That way we just need one tool to work on the rifle.

Now for some technical questions.

Will this work with Magpul cheek risers? Yes and no. If it's the clip on, then yes, if it's the larue riser that works with the charging handle, then no, not really. There are no slots underneath to mount the larue riser like there are on an MOE stock, for example.

Is this stock light? Fairly yes, compared to upper level modular stocks. Compared to the moe stock, it weighs about twice as much.

Is the extended butt plate worth it? Yes, I wish all manufactures would use this style. The rounded buttplate makes going from lowready to highready very comfortable. You don't have a sharp bottom-of-the-plate pivoting on your shoulder. It also makes it easier to position and get a good niche for stability.

Is the monopod worth it? Yes, for the price, it offers a pretty stable platform and the ability to make subtle adjustments. Not the best storage system, it's more like an improvised storage system, but it works.

Is the stock worth it? Yes, I think I got a shoddy one due to bad QA, but luckily I'm a bit of a hobbiest and have the tools to make stuff work. After I got this thing working properly it feels great to shoot my AR from a prone position, from a standing ready position, and from a bench position. However, I'd pay an extra 10 dollars if it meant strike would inspect their work better and fix silly mistakes and decisions like using different types of hardware for mounting. Strike, you REALLY need to do this, it should be a shame to let companies like UTG or G&P outperform you in quality control, when their base is airsoft users.

Again, Strike makes cool stuff, if they can fix their QA and make some minor improvements, I'll be sticking with them as my main go-to source for AR stuff from now on.
