No rattle, really tough, a couple minor incompatibilities
I bought this for an LR308 type rifle. I had previously bought the similar Magpul MOE FCS stock but being on a 6.5 Creedmoor rifle, the monopod option sold me. The MOE was kind of a rattler too. I don't like LR308 carbine style shorty buffers so I have an AR10 length buffer tube which uses a stan...

Great stock for the price, but quality control is severly lacking
So, first off, I like strike ind. products. They're cheap, stylish, and, for the most part, get the job done.
However, in each of their products there are decisions made and quality issues that put them at the airsoft mid-tier level of quality and below sometimes.
In this particular case, I had to...

It...stacks for length? Terrible design.
I don't even know where to begin with this thing. I pulled it out, instantly thought, "I am NOT mounting that to ANYTHING." Junk plastic, its just a distaster. If you do order it, when you open the box and fifty peices come out...you're gonna say, "That crazy 'ol one-star nut was right. I don't want this."
Pros:
- Looks...cool?
Cons:
- Everything.
Best Used for:
- Trash can
- Dumpster

Finally...
I have hated the M4 collapsible stock since I was first issued one at Ft. Sam Houston. It's sharp, it isn't long enough and the cheek weld sucks. Since I've retired from the Army, I grew a beard and learned to hate it even more when my beard hairs would get pulled by the stock. Plus, I'm 6'5" and the length of pull on all collapsible stocks is too short. Even the fixed stocks I have tried have been too short. But now I have found the perfect stock. The Strike Industries fixed stock is well designed, and simple to install with a screw driver and an hex wrench. It is adjustable for length of pull, but the tall guys will want all the spacers in place. The lock up is strong and the straight stock feels very much like the classic M-16 rifle stock that all of us troops-of-a-certain-age learned on. It felt very familiar when I threw the rifle up on my shoulder for the first time with this stock. Perfect cheek weld and no hair pulling!

good fixed stock option
This stock is great in states with restrictions on folding/telescoping stocks. This beats having a permanently pinned stock.
4 stars because it lacks a QD point. It still has 2 ways to mount a sling, but QD would be better.
It’s also a tad heavier than typical adjustable stocks due to the internal mounting hardware, but I wouldn’t call it heavy. Just a couple extra ounces.

Good stock but wish it had more qd mount points
I like this stock. It’s a pretty clever way of granting a flexible length of pull in a fixed stock. My only gripe is that I wish it had at least once QD sling attachment point. Perhaps a gen2 model will solve that.
