Tactical optics
The 3 colors available are great and the scope is very clear. The only down side is the eye relief it's only about 2.5 inches which makes it difficult for quick accusation of your target. Very nice scope for the money and made in USA.
Easy install
I read the negative comments at the opening of the comments. What I did with my optic was grip the lower part of the battery compartment with my left hand and turned the very top part of the battery pack cap with my right hand. Opened right up. Put a new battery in and it's clear as day. No problemo. I didn't use any special tools, just my hands.

Cant open battery compartment.
Directions say carefully open battery compartment on top of rheostat. It's so torqued down I cant open it with my bare hands. Been trying for hours and nothing. The optic does not have a coin slot on the top as pictured. My pre-impressions is the clarity is ok. But I have mount it to really be sure. If I can get the compartment to open first. I bought this optic on faith because they are hard to find and test. I saw a few youtube reviews and thought let me be a leader and try a potentially good optic. Well we're off to a horrible start. $158 wasted
