AK 47/ mak 90 optics mount
The mount seems well made and the design is good for those without built in mounting blocks on their rifle. The install is straightforward in theory, in practice however, the 2 pins that needed to come out were quite stubborn for 2 reasons. #1 The heads of both pins were peened over and had to be grinded down with a dremel. This was easy enough. #2 The pins once grinded did not want to come out regardless of how many times I hit the punch with the hammer. They eventually came out with much pounding. The reason for the stubbornness was this, the left side of the pins had a secondary ring as part of the pin which essentially locked the pins in place once inserted into the stamped steel receiver. I do think the design is good now that I've got it installed. The key feature of it is the ability to remove the mount and maintain zero .

AK-47/MAK 90 scope mount
I have used this product before and have had good luck with it. A solid mount and very well made. I have taken my AK deer hunting and used this mount every time and it has never failed me. I have recommended this mount to all of my friends and they have bought them for themselves too and have also had no problems with them.
