This rail will not work on Ruger M77 rifles without TWO DIFFERENT SIZE RINGS
When I ordered this I specifically asked if the mount required two different size rings like the Ruger Mounts. I was told NO. After waiting several months(the item was backordered) I find that if this adapter if used with two equally tall rings your scope will be pointing at the moon. It appears to be roughly .075 lower in the back than in the front. Someone somewhere really dropped the ball on engineering this gadget. Unless you can find Weaver rings that are comparable in height ratio as Ruger rings this is a waste of money!

Ranch rifle weaver mount
The adapter bolts right up to the Ruger Ranch Rifle and is solid. Sometime I wish it either had a relief ground in it ware it bridges the bolt because I like to put a round in without removing the clip, but that is just me. Overall it is a good solid mount that mount right up. I have found the same mount other places for a few dollars less but I paid the extra so I could get the whole order in the way from the same supplier.
