I bought this scope and put it on a new S&W M&P15. After getting it mounted with a set of 1" scope mounts and a raised rail for the M&P, I shot and adjusted the sites at 50 yards, then 100 and then at 200 yards. For my eye site at 61 years old, I believe this scope is Maxed out at 200 yards and is not Perfectly clear. Although it is Just Very Slightly Distorted at 200 yards, I have to say that it performed Very Well with my rifle, ammo and just a picnic table rest. No sandbags or rifle stand. I consistently shot within a 3" circle. I consider this to be a good scope for this rifle at a very good price. I would recommend this scope! Anything past 200 yards will require a different scope and probably a better shooter than myself.
