Clean barrel as normal, hoppes, brush, swab (use a wad of p-towel).
Lay in a heavy coating of CLP (use a wad of p-towel). Let stand at least over night. A couple days later, swab out with this Bore-Tips Swab. Iit will remove any remaining residue and leave a thin coat of CLP for storage. Perfect.
Swab cleans up easily with dish soap and warm/hot water. Rinse thoroughly. Let dry for a few days.
