it helps make the toy upon which it is now mounted much more tame and controls the aesthetic for those who may be the enemy on the receiving end. Something nice to see as the last thing one may see. A last act of kindness to the receiver. I of course am referring to those evil demonrat targets with sharp paper edges that inflicts paper cuts.

I compared it to my friend's rifle with an a2 birdcage and the flash signature reduction diffefence between both of them was insane. It's high quality and I didn't have any problems with its installation.
Cons:
- Some people might not like the ringing noise they make

Great flash hider reduces flash signature better than birdcage, We tried it at twilight and you could barly see a flash. In full darkness it is almost unnoticeable. If you're not looking for it you won't see it, even when you are looking for it it takes a couple of shots to pin point a location, does ring though. It is well built but heavier than I thought it would be. I'd buy it again.

The SureFire 3 Prong Eliminator Flash Hider does exactly what I bought it for. It eliminates flash and it does it VERY well. The construction is great of course being a surefire product. The three prong style looks aggressive and like I already mentioned, it eliminates flash extremely well.

Works great. Took it out at twilight and dark, there was no flash signature noticed. I like that there is no set orientation, you just screw on tight and you're there. This thing is built like a brick $*@t house, the only knock is it's heavy but worth it for me.

Was in the market for a flash hider for my 16" AR-15. The surefire comes with a crush washer and flash hider. Tighten to 30 ft/lbs and you're done. So far put 350 rounds through it indoors and I didn't notice any flash. The price is just right for what it does. Note that this model does not mount surefire QD suppressors.
Pros:
- flash hider
- Price and install ease
- function and design
Cons:
- No suppressor compatbility version
Best Used for:
- Range & Self Defense
- Home defence, close to mid range shooting.
- Recreation, target, hunting, self defense

Great flash hider, it's not as good as the war comp, but a more than adequate flash hider for my 10.3 5.56. I highly recommend it for professional use. Finish is quality work, came with a new crush washer. Easy install.
Pros:
- Quality
- Functional
- Cheap, Affordable
Best Used for:
- Law enforcement, military, law abiding citizen
