Surefire uses a USGI dimension on the flat wrench...thus most of your regular wrenches do not work.
This also gives you the proper alignment and torque values that you need when using a TQ wrench.
If your Surefire device was installed from a reputable OEM...most likely it will be rocksett in...so soak in hot water for 30-50 minutes prior to removing.
