Can't be set to instant on for the bright setting - SureFire 6PX Pro Compact LED Flashlight, Dual Output - 600 Lumens

I had hoped to replace my 6P LED with this light. When you hit instant on, it gives you alternating bright and dimmer settings. You can't set it to just give bright instant on, so while it's the usual superbly made Surefire, it's not worthwhile as a defense flashlight unless you want to cycle thru the dimmer setting. I didn't ask before I bought--just be aware of that.
