Most Helpful Positive Review SureFire SC1
Typical SureFire quality almost overbuilt. This is the only product I am aware of that is made to protect spare batteries and a bulb in a water tight case. Once lid is screwed down the contents are held snug and do not rattle. Pros: Batteries and spare bulb are well protected Cons: A little bulky

amazing quality

by Zipper Nipper, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on February 25, 2021
This product is great, it sleek, small, and strong. What else can you ask for? It’s small enough to put in your foam gun case or bag. It comes with a lanyard, but I do not use it. Not sure why you would. If you want additional batteries, get a case.

great storage!

by 11BGrunt, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on March 29, 2020
Holds 6 CR123 batteries which in my case is a full reload to Rifle/Shotgun/sidearm light batteries. It’s super durable, the lanyard it comes with had two adjustable devices(can’t think of the name) to keep/use with your needs, also comes with a small Quick attach loop.

This thing can be banged around just as much as your duty pistol/rifle, it’s water resistant/proof as well... highly recommended keeping one of these with batteries in your backpack... also I don’t use it but for extended period guys(deployed overseas or Tier1 maybe) you can store a light head if needed as well).
Pros:
  • heavy duty and secure
Cons:
  • none can see
Best Used for:
  • Duty and off duty carry

The product is great. The lanyard is difficult to attach, as others have stated. Or else I would have given 5 stars ! It is well constructed and waterproof. It's a great idea and easy to use. If you don't have one, then buy one. It's a lot easier to have your batteries in one place with an extra lamp. If you are on the move and can't afford to be without a working flashlight, this is the product for you.
Pros:

Cons:
  • lanyard

excellent idea well presented

by krobi, from VA, United States Written on December 26, 2014
Good bit of engineering, excellent materials and decent price. I bought 3 because I also bought 3 Surefire flashlights that are built like concrete and shine like lasers, so why not have solid secure battery carriers? I'll be picking up some replacement bulbs soon. These are flashlights you could pass on to your kids.

Must Have

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from MT, United States Written on November 15, 2012
Electronic equipment without spare batteries is just an anchor. I have tried other methods, but find that this spare carrier is the best way to carry extra batteries. The ends of the batteries will not touch metal and discharge/short, the case is solid--will not break--and it is waterproof. The extra bulb is also nice to have--just in case.
Pros: Functional
