Great product
Lightweight, comfortable and effective. And a great price. What more could you ask for? These earplugs were a hit with my petite wife (all of 95 lb) as well as myself (a more substantial 200 lb). They were really effective for reducing harmful decibel levels of big-bore rifle ammunition when combined with small, over-the-ear protection.

I’ve been using these ear plugs my entire life, and keep buying more. They work great as a reusable alternative to foam plugs, just wash them with a little soap/water after shooting. Ideally I use muffs over plugs while shooting for extra protection/comfort, and having these on allows me to take the muffs off at the range, or if shooting from odd positions and the muffs get bumped your hearing won’t be effected. The ability to allow conversation level sounds through works great, and coupled with electronic muffs is an unbeatable combination. I’ve shot tactical rifle competitions with nothing more than these, and gave my mom a set for sleeping while traveling. The med fit fine even though I have a large head, and should fit most people. They last me perfectly over a year, and I’ve even pulled some out after many years. Highly recommended product

fit better than many others
I've tried many types of hearing protection over 30 years of range shooting and hunting. Over-the-ear electronic, in-ear bluetooth, foam plugs, and on. There are times when over-the ear does NOT work well, as for me they can interfere with proper cheek weld and scope eye relief when shooting rifles. These fit nice and snug, deep enough to reduce the noise level significantly but not so deep as to be uncomfortable; I hardly notice them. I appreciate the different color plugs to quickly ID left/right. For me they work well enough on their own. If I wore these underneath any added over-the ear muffs, it might actually be too quiet and I wouldn't want to risk missing commands from a rangemaster or safety officer. I will likely order a couple more for back-up and will recommend them to anyone looking for good hearing protection.

Comfortable and Practical
I’m using it together with active ear muff and it’s super useful to reduce noise. the idea that i can be in the range area and still hear stuff. Also used it a few times in live music concerts and it was great.

Surefire EP4
These are so comfortable you can forget you have them in your ears. They work well and don't interfer with ear muffs or glasses. They fit in easily and work well with ear muffs. They can be used for shooting along with ear muffs or alone under a motorcycle helmet or when bicycle riding. The cut out just enough noise to be benefical in most situations.

Good second hearing protection
Good back-up ear protection. Muffs are better, however are also bulky. I carry both and use at trap range. carry a 12 range and 24 when plugged. replaces the old Sonic Plugs that I used back in the day.

Lightweight, great sound control
I love these earplugs! They stay in place! Have already bought more! Very lightweight you forget you have them in. They don't interfere if you wear glasses.The small plug you use to open & close for sound control is very small, hard to open & close when already in ear. It's easier to slightly pull unit out of ear canal to hear then push back into ear canal to suppress noise.

Ear Defender
I used these in a precision rifle course, instead of my electronic ear muffs which always hinder my cheek weld position on the rifle stock. The EP4 earplugs where more than adequate, to control the sound levels, and I could still here the instructor all be it the voices where a bit muffled. The ear plug have a pluggable channel in them which would allow you to low the noise even further but I haven't had to use the plugs yet.

Great for matches (pistol)
I used these with a .308 Rifle and do not recommend this for high caliber use.
I later used these at a pistol match. Excellent.
If you like the aspect of not using big ear muffs during matches, I would recommend these.

Fit and Function Are Great
Excellent sound reduction. Comfortable fit. My son and I use these all the time. They fit well and block the majority of the sound. When at an indoor range, I may choose to also where external ear muffs. This is only because indoor ranges are so loud that one set of ear-protection is normally not sufficient. Have withstood a half-dozen outings. I will definitely buy more.
