The Fury Defender 500 Lumens is perfect for putting in your pocket, purse, and mounting on an AR-15 with 1" ring. This light will blind the bad guy giving that extra time to make your stand. I have one mounted on my rifle and gave one to my wife. Really nice light! Pros: Small and Bright

Surefire Is Reliable

The Surefire Defender is like an old pair of comfortable shoes. You can always count on them. This is my second Sureire flashlight. Pelican was my flashlight of choice, but it can not compare to Surefire when it comes to brightness, reliability, and ergonomic design.

Surefire Fury Defender 500 Lumen LED Single Stage Flashlight w/ 123A Lithium Batteries

This handheld light is bright and fits great in my hand. The length is just right, where the bezel head protrudes about an inch away from my grip away from my hand when held as a defensive striking tool

Great Light!

I guess Surefire made the upgrade because I received the 600 lumen flashlight, which the website now shows. Anyway, this is an awesome flashlight in quality and brightness. Just like having a compact spotlight. One drawback of so much power though is that after a few minutes, this thing gets HOT! Overall I am very pleased with this flashlight

Surefire Defender 500 lumen

This flashlight is great it lights up a huge area, super bright. I can imagine what 1000 lumen can do. After using this light I will never use a mag lite again. I would highly recommend this flashlight.

Great choice for personal defense

Great flashlight for personal defense especially for females. Extremely bright plus you would not want to be hit in the face with it given the strike bezel.

Great Light!

Great small light with big time search light power. Love the strike bezel, great advantage when you have a pistol in your hand and you need to break glass or use less lethal force against someone. Light is bright enough to temporarily blind an adversary, even during the day.
Pros: Small, Durable, and Bright!
Cons: Battery Life/Price
