Best compact light for defense
I had to keep this one for myself. Bright beyond belief. Used at night, an assailant would have an extreme problem with loss of night vision for a prolonged period of time.
Pros: Incredible brightness in a small compact light
Cons: Battery consumption may be a little high

This flashlight is very bright, as you'd expect from 1000 lumens. Although the casing does heat up in your hand when turned on for 5 minutes or longer, I do not think that it detracts from its usability. Fantastic flashlight, from fit to finish! Highly recommended!

Almost too bright!
The flashlight gene is related to the knife gene. You can never have too many! I have several sure fire lights, this one I bought when on sale and a coupon from OP. Very bright for its size, lights up the woods or back yard very well. Not the best for close up inspection of parts or equipment. You can buy cheaper lights, but they most likely are not made in U.S.A.
