The lamps on SureFire flashlights don't last very long. You'll need a replacement . Well packaged and very easy to install. Pros: Emits light, necessary to make flashlight work Cons: They don't last as long as advertised

Surefire replacement bulb

Bulb exactly as described.Came within days of ordering.No problems installing bulb was simpler than I thought. You need to be careful not to touch the bulb when installing or you will destroy the life of the bulb to maybe half. Wish they would make a brighter version to increase the lumens to more than 50.

New Bulbs for E2D Defender

Works great and easy to replace, however after a few years it's getting a bit pricey on upkeep if used regularly like my E2D Defender. Consider an upgrade to the LED head replacement if you go through more than 2 bulbs a year.
Pros:
  • Easy to install
  • bright
  • Bulb container is good for other uses.
Cons:
  • Expensive

Good bulb but doesn't last long.

This is for my old e2d defender which I love, only problem is the bulb doesn't last long! The lumen output is 60 which when I bought the light it was great but I still prefer the light quality of an incandescent light over LEDs.
